Director Biography – Travis Clausen-Knight
South African-born, Travis has had a significant career in dance having worked for choreographers such as Wayne McGregor, Michael Clark, Matthew Bourne, Bawren Tavaziva, Holly Noble, Tim Podesta, and Alexander Whitley. Currently leading Pett Clausen Knight (PCK). Travis has a deep ambition to create and has choreographed works that have been performed internationally, including Salt To Water, SHIO to MIZU, Exposure, ProXimity, Stutter, and Informal Between. In 2020, he received the Korean International Contemporary Dance Competition award for best choreography and was previously awarded several recognitions and awards for his work. His curiosity towards creativity has also led to several collaborations in fashion, appearing and starring for names such as Nick Knight, Gareth Pugh, Demo Fashion, Kawakey, COS, and Cerruti 1881. This has been a catalyst for his directing and development of multi-faceted performances and projects for the future with acclaimed international visual artists and companies.
