The Table Tilters Episode 1 – Protfolio

A group of university students gathers in Brittany, France, to celebrate Christmas amidst the eerie stillness of the COVID-19 lockdown. Isolated from family and surrounded by the region’s ancient history and folklore, they find themselves drawn to the mystique of an old Ouija board discovered in their rented cottage. Laughter turns to unease as the board seems to respond with cryptic messages, mentioning names and events they’ve never heard of. Unwittingly, they delve deeper, invoking forces tied to Brittany’s legends of cursed seers and forbidden rituals. As the nights grow colder and their questions more pointed, strange occurrences plague the house: whispered voices, shadows that shouldn’t be there, and dreams of apocalyptic visions. Soon, they uncover local tales of prophecies written centuries ago, warning of a plague and darkness summoned by the curious and the careless. Paranoia sets in—have they become the harbingers of these foretold events? Desperate to undo their actions, the students must unravel the mystery of the board and its ties to Brittany’s ancient past before the ominous warnings come true. But the deeper they dig, the more they realize some doors, once opened, cannot be closed.
